Chicago, June 12, 2012 – OptionsCity Software, a leading provider of electronic trading solutions, today announced that Edward Boyle has joined its board of advisors. Mr. Boyle brings with him to OptionsCity more than 30 years of financial industry experience.

Edward most recently served as Managing Director for Getco LLC. Previously, he was Executive Vice President, Director of U.S. Options Exchanges, for NYSE Euronext where he was responsible for the strategic development, market structure, and technology platform of NYSE Euronext’s two distinct U.S. options exchanges, NYSE Arca options, and NYSE Amex options.  Prior to joining NYSE Euronext in 2007, he was Vice President and Director of Business Development, Equity Derivatives, at TD Securities. Before that, he was Managing Director, Business Development for LETCO Trading Companies.

Edward previously served on the board of directors of the Options Clearing Corporation, and also on the International Securities Exchange as an industry director. He was a member of the SIA Options Committee from 2003 to 2007. Additionally, Edward has held membership and committee appointments on the Chicago Board Options Exchange, the Chicago Stock Exchange, and the National Stock Exchange.
