LONDON and JERSEY CITY, N.J. (July 16, 2012) – Knight Capital Group, Inc. (NYSE Euronext: KCG) today announced that Ana Concejero joined Knight’s Listed Derivatives Group as Managing Director responsible for sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), based in London. Ms. Concejero will focus on client development and opening new markets for the distribution of advisory and liquidity services in the region, reporting to Reginald Browne, Managing Director, Global Co-Head of the Listed Derivatives Group and Albert C. Maasland, Senior Managing Director, Head of International.

Ana Concejero
Managing Director

Ana Concejero, a Managing Director in Knight’s Listed Derivatives Group with more than 18 years global markets experience, is responsible for the ETF sales effort across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Ms. Concejero is a veteran in the ETF industry with experience leading a number of growth initiatives across Europe, the U.S. and Latin America. She joined Knight in July 2012 after more than eight years at BlackRock (and previously Barclays Global Investors), where most recently she was Director and Head of LATAM and Iberia Capital Markets, leading sell-side relationships in Latin America as well as the New York-based Delta One, ETF and LATAM desks.

Prior to joining BlackRock/Barclays in 2004, Ms. Concejero was Head of Sales and Marketing at Derivatives House Mako Financial Markets Ltd. in London. She started her career in 1994 at Deutsche Börse AG where over eight years she was responsible for expanding the exchange’s cash and derivatives electronic trading systems, leading the London exchange operations and increasing U.S. buy-side clients.

Ms. Concejero has a dual degree in business administration from Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid, Spain, and Europäisches Studienprogramm für Betriebswirtschaft (ESB), Fachhochschule für Technik & Wirtschaft in Reutlingen, Germany.
