ISDA Responds to FCA Consultation On Trading Venue Perimeter

On November 25, 2022, ISDA and UK Finance responded jointly to a consultation on UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) guidance on the trading venue perimeter.

In the response, the associations highlight that the FCA guidance should only capture genuine multilateral systems and not capture technology innovations, which have digitalized bilateral trading interactions.

The UK regulatory framework should continue to support the development of technology solutions that encourage innovation, increase market efficiency and create more competition in the UK market.
