ADGM to Launch Digital Venue for Private & Public Securities

Thomas Zeeb, former global head – exchanges at SIX,  said on LinkedIn:

Some of you may have wondered where I disappeared to over the past few months.

Since leaving SIX at the end of 2023, I have been working with a subsidiary of IHC in Abu Dhabi to establish a digital Securities Infrastructure in the ADGM freezone as part of Abu Dhabi’s agenda to establish a globally-oriented Financial Centre. The mandate is to establish a venue for international issuers and investors establishing themselves or investing in the region, and a gateway to international investors and securities for domestic issuers and investors.

I am delighted to finally be able announce the launch of Finstreet Ltd, a holding company encompassing:

Finstreet Capital Ltd – Private Markets Issuance and Advisory
Finstreet Global Markets Ltd – Multilateral Trading Facility
Finstreet Global Clearing and Settlement Ltd – Central Securities Depository and Digital Settlement Facility
which will introduce the first regulated digital venue for trading both digital and traditional, as well as private and secondary market securities in the Abu Dhabi Global Market ADGM.

This is the first milestone in an ambitious strategy and plan which will unfold over the next couple of years and I am looking forward to capitalizing on all of the opportunities here as we move forward.
