Chainlink, the standard for onchain finance, and Intercontinental Exchange Inc. announced that high-quality FX and precious metals rates from ICE Consolidated Feed will serve as a contributor to the derived data set that Chainlink Data Streams provides to 2,000+ applications, leading banks, asset managers, and infrastructure in the Chainlink ecosystem.

This new development marks a significant milestone on the pathway towards the mainstream adoption of onchain finance. ICE’s market-leading data feed, covering a broad array of currencies and important precious metals, brings a new level of reliability to onchain markets and supports innovation of new types of tokenized assets and products. ICE serves as one of multiple high-quality data providers utilised by Chainlink for their derived data sets on Chainlink Data Streams, supplying DeFi applications with access to tamper-resistant data.
