Citi Enhances its Proprietary AI Platform

Citi announced the launch of an enhanced version of its proprietary AI platform, Citi Stylus Workspaces, now powered by Agentic AI. This upgrade enables employees to tackle longer, more complex objectives and tasks with greater speed, efficiency and insight, supporting Citi’s efforts to become an even more technology-driven and productive firm.

The latest version of Citi Stylus Workspaces integrates directly with Citi systems, linking seamlessly to internal data and project management tools, including the company’s global employee directory, commonly used enterprise platforms and other key resources, while also leveraging web searches and analysis capabilities. Employees can now conduct in-depth research, extract insights from vast datasets and streamline multi-stage workflows into a single, automated process.

David Griffiths, Chief Technology Officer, Citi:

“The integration of Agentic AI into Stylus Workspaces is a pivotal moment in our commitment to empowering our workforce with cutting-edge tools. We’re giving our people smarter, faster and more connected tools so they can focus less on manual tasks and more on the big ideas that drive our business forward.”

Tasks that previously required multiple steps can now be completed in one flow. For example, Citi Stylus Workspaces can now identify the top five branded cards businesses in the U.S., distill their strategic goals, and translate these insights into Spanish, via only one prompt input by user.

The rollout begins this September, with thousands of employees gaining early access, followed by a staged expansion across the firm. To ensure smooth adoption, Citi is introducing dedicated training programs to help employees maximize the tool’s new capabilities.
