What does this recognition mean to you personally and professionally?

I am filled with immense gratitude to receive this award. This recognition not only honors my personal achievements at Nasdaq but also represents the relentless dedication of women in finance who work day in and day out to strive for excellence in marketing and communications. I am humbled by the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from such a dynamic community, where creativity, innovation, and strategic communication converge to empower and elevate the financial ecosystem. I look forward to continuing to contribute to this industry with a renewed enthusiasm and passion.

What advice would you share with other women aspiring to leadership?

For women who are aspiring to leadership roles within the financial ecosystem, it’s imperative to cultivate self-confidence and self-belief as a leader. Proactively networking and seeking mentorship from women who you look up to provides invaluable learnings, support, and motivation to foster this self-confidence and belief. Additionally, tapping into educational resources about your industry and business area of focus, paired with leadership and communication courses, only helps strengthen these skills. Communication is key, so always be sure to share your ideas and opinions with confidence. Never forget to take advantage of growth opportunities to showcase your abilities and further your career progression.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing to unwind or recharge?

Outside of work, it’s vital to keep both your mind and body sharp to ensure you can perform to the best of your professional abilities, as well as enjoy your loved ones and surroundings! For me, that includes reading and running. I’ve been in a book club with a group of New York City women (with jobs spanning all industries and sectors!) for 3+ years. It’s a fantastic way to not only introduce me to new authors, stories, and perspectives, but also provides me with an easy way to get together with a fun and inspiring group of young women. Additionally, I run almost every day as a way to clear my mind and get some fresh air. I love the opportunity to spend even 30 minutes outside, whether it’s 90+ degrees outside or snowing. Running has also provided me with the opportunity to set a goal and accomplish it. To date, I’ve run three marathons – NYC 2023, Chicago 2024, NYC 2025. Whether curled up with a good book or running loops around Central Park, reading and exercise are fun ways for me to unwind and recharge.
