Georgette Anderson

Georgette Anderson, Managing Director, leads the Aladdin Insurance Business Development team for AMRS within the Aladdin Client Business (ACB). Ms. Anderson’s team focuses on new business and harvesting opportunities, working with prospective clients to assess the need for investment management technology solutions and managed data services.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Ms. Anderson spent 6+ years at RIMES Technologies where she was responsible for existing business sales for asset managers. The firm’s primary focus is the integration of benchmark data within performance, compliance, risk, research, EDM and proprietary systems through their managed data service RIMES Benchmark Data Service(BDS).

Prior to RIMES, Ms. Anderson worked at Bloomberg L.P. in a variety of roles over her 6+ year tenure. Within the Terminal sales team, Ms. Anderson was a relationship manager for New York broker dealers focusing on sales and relationship building across equity capital markets, Institutional Sales & Trading, investment banking and research departments. While on the Analytics desk, Ms. Anderson became an equity specialist. She provided high-level analytical expertise to clients on macroeconomic indicators and per security valuations across a variety of asset classes including futures, funds, options and other derivatives. Ms. Anderson was also the group head of the API team within the Analytics department. Her team specialized in extraction of financial data from the Bloomberg terminal into Microsoft Excel using Bloomberg’s proprietary API language. Before joining the Analytics team, Ms. Anderson was a Team Leader in the Global Custom Support department. She began her career at Bloomberg as a member of the Global Custom Support team.  

Ms. Anderson earned a BS degree in Business Management and minor in Africana Studies from Binghamton University
