With more than 18 years of experience in asset management, investment banking, and alternative investments across Latin American markets, Cecilia Jiménez has built a distinguished track record in the financial industry. She currently leads Santander Investments + Retail in Mexico, overseeing over US$50 billion in assets under management and serving more than 11 million clients.

Previously, she served as CEO of Santander Asset Management Mexico and held senior leadership roles including Head of Equity Capital Markets and Head of Research at Santander.

Cecilia is deeply committed to advancing diversity and strengthening talent pipelines in finance. In 2018, she co-founded Women in Finance Mexico, where she continues to serve as a board member.

Beyond her corporate leadership, she is an active angel and seed investor in Latin American startups and sits on the boards of both private and publicly listed companies.

Her work has been recognized nationally; Expansión Magazine named her one of the Most Powerful Women in Business in Mexico in 2023 and 2024.
