Norma Castro has over 30 years of experience in the financial sector, leading high-impact financial inclusion initiatives. She has developed innovative models to bring financial products and services to vulnerable and underserved populations, with a strong focus on women.

Norma is a recognized leader in financial health, social impact, responsible banking, diversity, and gender equity, she serves as a gender equity sponsor and member of Santander’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

has led several microfinance institutions, supporting millions of entrepreneurs and microbusiness owners in Mexico and beyond. She is currently the Executive Director of Financial Inclusion at Santander Mexico and General Director of Tuiio.

Her work has earned distinctions from the WBCSD, the Mexican Banking Association, and the UN Global Compact Mexico.
