Companies raising capital through tokenized IPOs and Direct Issuance Programs will be able to tap into CoinList’s deep user base and partner ecosystem, bringing 12 million users frictionless access to onchain capital formation opportunities. This partnership gives issuers a new distribution channel and access to a broad pool of already-KYCed investors, marking a meaningful step forward for bringing capital markets onchain.
Superstate provides the onchain issuance platform and SEC-approved transfer agent recordkeeping, while CoinList brings access to new opportunities to its robust investor base, diversifying offerings from just crypto tokens into real, public equities. By integrating with Superstate’s smart contracts, CoinList will make onchain IPO and follow-on capital raising opportunities available directly within the app or to other partner wallets. In addition, CoinList will seamlessly allow users to share their credentials with Superstate to get on the Superstate Allowlist to access opportunities through Opening Bell without leaving the app or undergoing any further friction or onboarding.
CoinList has deep roots in digital asset capital formation. Since 2017, CoinList has been one of crypto’s best-known token sale and ICO platforms, helping early communities form around projects like Solana, Filecoin, and Near. In 2024, CoinList raised $104 million across 14 token launches and attracted participants from more than 160 countries.
As a fully onchain, non-custodial platform, CoinList will surface natively tokenized stock offerings in its app, while Superstate powers the issuance through Opening Bell. When an investor buys newly issued shares with stablecoins, Superstate creates the shares, delivers them directly to the investor’s wallet, and updates the shareholder registry in real time. This makes CoinList the first third-party venue to build on Superstate’s rails for IPOs and follow-on capital issuance, showing how it can extend compliant, onchain capital formation beyond Superstate’s own interface.
By making offerings available directly through platforms like CoinList, Superstate gives public company issuers a clearer path from issuance to investor demand while giving investor-facing platforms a way to bring access to natively tokenized equities.
