Sense Street Uses AI to Automate Primary Bond Market

Sense Street announced a new integration that brings AI-powered automation to one of the most important workflows in the primary bond market.

The collaboration combines Sense Street’s ability to transform unstructured dealer communications into structured data with S&P Global Market Intelligence’s IssueBook platform, helping market participants capture and process investor orders more efficiently during the bookbuilding process.

Primary bond issuance is a highly collaborative process involving issuers, syndicate desks, sales teams, investors, and operations. The integration is designed to reduce manual processing, improve operational efficiency, support more accurate order capture, and help market participants manage primary market activity more effectively. By bringing AI-enabled automation into existing workflows, the solution supports greater efficiency across these personas.

“There has been no shortage of discussion about AI in capital markets, but tangible front-office use cases remain rare. S&P is the undisputed leader in primary markets, and by integrating with IssueBook, we bring state-of-the-art automation directly into the book-building workflow. This reduces operational risk for syndicate desks and frees salespeople to provide higher-value support to clients throughout the issuance process.”

Haroon Hassan · CEO at Sense Street

The collaboration reflects both companies’ commitment to advancing the digital transformation of capital markets through practical, market ready AI solutions. By combining trusted market infrastructure with specialised AI capabilities, Sense Street is working with S&P Global Market Intelligence to help market participants modernise critical workflows while preserving appropriate transparency, governance and user oversight.
