Memento Mori

11.13.2013

Memento mori, translated from Latin it means “remember you must die”. This theme is disguised as skulls in much of the accessories and clothing we wear today. Even though the skull trend seems fairly new, memento mori dates as far back as the 16th century. Since then, memento mori jewelry served as a constant reminder of the wearer’s own mortality and of the dearly departed. As morbid as this may sound, we hope that these beautiful pieces remind you of living every day to the max.
