MTS ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF ITS NEWEST REGIONAL OFFICE IN MOSCOW

Eden Prairie, Minn. – November 25, 2013 – MTS Systems Corporation (NASDAQ: MTSC), a leading global supplier of high performance test systems and position sensors, today announced the opening of a new office in Moscow, Russia. This office will focus on the growing Russian market for the MTS Test business by providing local sales and service support to its business partners in the region.

“The Russian market offers great opportunities for the MTS Test business, ranging from automotive new product design validation to materials and infrastructure testing equipment, and supporting services. Having a direct presence in Russia will enable us to work more closely with our customers, quickly anticipate the changing market dynamics, and better position MTS to support our local business partners,” said William Hardy, Vice President of Product Sales and Marketing for MTS Test. “We know there is untapped growth potential that can be realized in these markets with our expanded commitment.”

Today, MTS products and service solutions are represented in the Russian and CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries through business partners. The Russian economy is an important component of MTS’ growth strategy. MTS is committed to exploring new opportunities – finding new customers and markets that can benefit from the MTS world renowned testing expertise. The non-commercial representative office in Moscow officially opened on November 18, 2013, and will focus on expanded sales and service capability.
