Interactive Data’s APEX Now Available via Asset Control’s Platform

06.07.2016

PRNewswire – New York – Interactive Data, a subsidiary of Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE), and a leading provider of trusted, mission-critical information for over 10 million financial instruments announced that its APEX delivery platform is now integrated with leading financial data management solutions provider Asset Control’s platform, AC Plus.

The launch of APEX, an innovative delivery platform for pricing and reference data, has enabled significant enhancements to content, infrastructure and data collection operations. With the addition of an APEX-specific connector to Asset Control’s suite of connectors, such as IDS, FundrunSM and MuniviewSM, Asset Control clients can now choose from a range of off-the-shelf adaptors to gain access to Interactive Data’s evaluations and reference data to support firm-wide workflows across operations, risk management and regulatory reporting.

“The industry has pushed for more cost control and decreased complexity related to data for years. We’ve invested to enhance our reference data platform to help firms manage their total cost of ownership and simplify their data consumption across the enterprise,” said Hubert Holmes, Managing Director of Reference Data at Interactive Data. “Now clients have another way to achieve greater operational efficiency by connecting to APEX via the Asset Control platform.”

“Access to APEX will provide our clients with broader access to high quality data and serves as a significant addition to our data feed handlers collection.” added Asset Control’s VP Product Management, Martijn Groot. “At Asset Control, it is our aim to provide customers with maximum choice and flexibility, and through our Data Services team, we support a large selection of financial data feed handlers which we believe to be the largest selection in the industry. The addition of Interactive Data’s APEX further broadens our offering, and gives our clients more choices at a time when regulatory requirements have never been greater.”
