BTIG Expands Institutional Equities Team with Industry Veteran Domingo Alonso

BTIG –  New York  BTIG, LLC announced today the expansion of its Institutional Equity Sales and Trading Group. Domingo Alonso, Managing Director, has joined the firm in Atlanta, strengthening its offering in the region.

Mr. Alonso has nearly 40 years of experience in the industry. Prior to BTIG, he spent over a decade as a Managing Director of Institutional Equities at FBR Capital Markets. Previously, Mr. Alonso acted in a similar role at Cowen and Company for 25 years.

“Domingo will be instrumental in further solidifying our footprint in the U.S. institutional equities business,” said Richard J. Blank, Jr., Managing Director and Head of Global Equities, at BTIG. “While leveraging his extensive network of solid industry relationships, he will help deepen our bench of professionals sourcing valuable, natural liquidity on behalf of clients.”
