10.18.2017

CHICAGO, Oct. 18, 2017 – Rival Systems (Rival), an award-winning provider of trading and risk management software, announced that Gator Trading is leveraging its Rival Trader front-end for the firm’s options trading strategies.  Gator, an operator of trading groups specializing primarily in futures and options, migrated last year to the firm’s Rival Risk platform for all of its risk management needs.

Gator Trading Partner Jason Feller said: “Rival has provided us with access to a full suite of high-performance options trading and risk management tools.  With the help of the Rival support team, we have been able to implement custom solutions to very complicated trading issues across multiple asset classes and achieve excellent results in the process.  The support team at Rival still supports us now with the same dedication, effort and thoroughness that they provided on day one.”

Rival Systems CEO Robert D’Arco said: “We’re always looking to improve our users’ experience and meet their unique trading and risk management needs. Rival was already a known quantity to Gator in providing innovative, enterprise-wide solutions to the firm’s risk management challenges. It’s a pleasure to now work with Jason and others on the trading side to provide them with the advanced functionality and ongoing support they need to compete in the options markets.”

Clients can leverage Rival’s comprehensive suite of integrated products for all their financial technology needs, including enterprise risk management, multi-asset trading and algorithmic strategy development.
