STANY Convenes Conference at NYSE on April 19

04.11.2018

Look out Big Apple, the industry’s biggest and brightest are getting ready to meet up and examine all things trading and market structure.

The Security Traders Association of New York (STANY) will hold its 82nd annual conference on April 19th from 7:30 am to 9 pm at the New York Stock Exchange.

The confab is the affiliate’s premier event which features thought provoking panels and speakers, opportunities to network and make meaningful business connections in the securities and financial services industry and a charity component. STANY offers a full day of content kicked off by its Women in Finance supported breakfast and culminating in a party on the floor of the historic exchange featuring music from Raw Sugar.

Unlike events prior, this event is closed to the media except for the evening reception.

Also, STANY continues its philanthropic mission – this year focusing on Cody Strong for a Cure. This charity  is a registered 501 (c) (3) charitable organization founded by Bill Cody (Cboe) and his family after his son Will was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in 2016. Their mission is to support and improve the lives of children battling pediatric cancer and drive research for a cure.  All money raised by STANY will go to support children with cancer and their families, and fund pediatric cancer research.
