Britni Ihle, Managing Director, is a senior member of the Blackrock Global Markets Artificial Intelligence (AI) team, with a current focus on leading Trading Transformation. In her current role, Ms. Ihle is responsible for driving trading transformation and automation initiatives, as well as advancing the integration of artificial intelligence into trading workflows.

Prior to joining BlackRock, Ms. Ihle was Head of Quantitative Trading for Global Spread Products and Head of Cross-Product Trading at Citigroup. In these roles, she was responsible for the firm’s algorithmic and portfolio credit trading strategies and led primary and secondary fixed income ETF markets in North America. She also served as Co-Head of Women in Trading for Markets, supporting the recruitment and development of female traders. 

Previously, Ms. Ihle held multiple trading roles at Credit Suisse, most recently as Head of Systematic Credit Trading. She was also responsible for the department’s technology and eCommerce product initiatives globally. Earlier in her career, she managed the Short-End Interest Rate Swaps trading desk.

Ms. Ihle earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
