Maria Victoria Esteve de Murga
01.12.2026Partner and Deputy CEO of NSC Asesores, an independent investment advisory firm with the largest assets under management in Mexico. She holds a degree in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico de México (ITAM), where she also completed diplomas in Finance and Economic Analysis. She furthered her education with the Senior Management Program (AD2) and the Governance Program at IPADE, as well as the Leadership Program at IESE Business School and the Climate Action Leadership Program at EGADE Business School.
She began her more than 44-year career in the financial sector at Operadora de Bolsa S.A. de C.V. in the Money Markets area, where she was responsible for the Trading Desk. Later, she became Director of Mutual Funds for the brokerage firm.
Upon the formation of Grupo Financiero Serfin, she held the position of Chief of staff for the CEO and subsequently became Executive Director of Private Banking for the Group.
In 1998, she joined NSC Asesores as a Partner and Director, serving as Deputy CEO.
Currently, she is an Independent Board Member of BIVA (Bolsa Institucional de Valores) and NSC Asesores, as well as a member of the CONALEP Advisory Board. She also served as an Independent Board Member of MAPFRE for 12 years.
She was President of the Mexican Association of Investment Advisors (AMAI) for four years and is currently a member of its Ethics and Justice Committee.
She is a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Research on Women in Senior Management (CIMAD) at IPADE (Instituto Panamericano de Alta Dirección de Empresas) , which she chaired for ten years. She is a co-founder of the Women in Finance Association (MEF) and a member of its Board of Directors, as well as President of the Intercambiando México Foundation, whose mission is to promote environmental causes with social impact.

She received the “Women of the Decade in Finance & Leadership” Award from the WEF (Women Economic Forum) on October 17, 2019, and the “Excellence in Leadership” Award from Women in Finance Latam on March 6, 2025.
She was named one of the “100 Most Powerful Women in Business” by Grupo Expansión in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
