Supriya Bajoria is a seasoned credit professional having 15+ years of experience on both the buy and sell side. She recently joined Scotia Bank as a credit sales person covering a wide spectrum of insurance, real money as well as fast money clients, bringing her trading skillset to the sales team. Prior to joining Scotia Bank, Ms. Bajoria traded Investment Grade credit for over $100bn in AUM at Nuveen. She also led the firm’s Minority, Women and Diversity Initiative on the credit desk to increase trading connectivity and fortify relationships with diversity dealers. Additionally, Ms. Bajoria has strong understanding of bottom-up fundamental credit analysis and deep relationships on both the buy and sell side. Prior to Nuveen, Ms. Bajoria was a sell-side trader at UBS for 5 years.

Ms. Bajoria won the Excellence in Fixed Income Trading Award in 2022 issued by Markets Media and Women in Finance.

Ms. Bajoria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a dual concentration in Finance and Information Technology. She graduated with University Honors, 4.0 GPA in Finance, and served as a teaching assistant for BBA Financial Management Course. She is a member of 100 Women in Finance, and enjoys scuba diving and photography.
