Markets Media is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Pugh as a reporter for the Markets Media news desk, working across titles.

Dan Barnes, Editorial Director at Markets Media Europe of Markets Media, said, “Alex is joining the news desk in order to source and coordinate the flow of information to the right audience for each of our titles, helping us to deliver exclusive and timely stories. We’re delighted to have him on board.”

Markets Media has six titles operating across the US, Europe and Asia Pacific, following a rapid expansion which took in Best Execution, The DESK and DerivSource over the past five years.

This latest expansion of the editorial team follows on from the recent appointment of Laurie McAughtry as managing editor of Best Execution, and Lynn Strongin-Dodds’ new role focusing on content delivery for the firm’s growing ‘Sustainability’ brand and the Women in Finance initiative, writing across multiple titles to support the groups’ broader editorial output.

Pugh will start on 12th June.
