American Century Investments Becomes ETF Issuer At SIX

SIX welcomes American Century Investments as its latest issuer of Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs). Their first product, the AVANTIS GL SM CAP VALUE ETF, brings the total number of ETFs available to investors on SIX Swiss Exchange to 2,017.

With Avantis Investors by American Century Investments, SIX welcomes the 32nd ETF issuer, broadening the choice for investors with an actively managed ETF that invests in small-cap companies from developed markets worldwide. It aims to outperform the MSCI World Small Cap Value index by overweighting companies with lower valuations and higher profitability. This ETF is managed by Avantis Investors, a unit of American Century Investments with broad expertise in active ETFs.

Gregor Braun, Head Cash Market Sales, Exchanges, SIX: “We’re excited to see American Century Investments join the ranks of ETF issuers on SIX Swiss Exchange. As one of Europe’s ETF pioneers, having launched our segment almost 25 years ago, we continue to focus on increasing our attractiveness for new issuers and to support them in gaining access to the unique investor base in Switzerland.”

Richard Adams, Head of EMEA, American Century Investments: “We consistently develop new solutions powered by financial science to respond to changing client needs and priorities. We are excited to bring this low-cost, well-diversified strategy to Switzerland and broaden our offerings in Europe. Feedback from European investors about the UCITS ETFs we launched in 2024 has been positive and we continue to see significant demand from European investors. Our mission is – and always has been – to help investors build better portfolios.”
