CFN Services Announces Rebranding, Changes Name to Apcela

10.18.2016

CFN – HERNDON, VA – CFN Services, the high-performance application delivery company, announced today that it has adopted a new brand name, Apcela, reflecting both the evolution of the company and its vision for the future.  The company also unveiled a new brand image and digital presence (www.apcela.com) better representing the next-generation cloud-ready IT architecture it provides to capital markets and more broadly to global enterprise IT clients.

Since acquiring intellectual property from CSX Fiber Networks in 2005, CFN Services became a recognized leader in global high-performance networking and application delivery solutions for automated trading and electronic market making. As the capital markets became more digital and interconnected, and enterprises moved toward cloud distributed hybrid IT architectures, the company continued to innovate and evolve its award-winning low-latency Alpha Platform. The Apcela rebrand represents the successful and ongoing evolution of the company beyond its capital markets heritage.

“Our new name, Apcela, embodies our vision for application acceleration. We’re guaranteeing application performance and security across the increasingly complex and fragmented hybrid IT environment, addressing a growing challenge for our clients both within the capital markets and beyond,“ said Mark Casey, President and CEO of CFN Services, now Apcela. “In this digital world driven by interconnections between users, applications, and devices, Apcela delivers unparalleled speed and performance to our clients, while simplifying the complexity of managing application performance in this new age of IT.”

Apcela’s software defined platforms are now broadly deployed and highly interconnected with the cloud, reaching 185 markets in 41 countries. The company also accelerates application performance in business segments where global speed and agility is critical, including: pharmaceuticals, healthcare, engineering, and manufacturing. While the name and logo have changed to better represent the company today, Apcela’s value proposition remains the same: our unique combination of speed and performance, coupled with the simplicity of integration into existing IT environments, allows businesses to quickly adapt to changing needs.

CFN Services, now known as Apcela, will launch the new brand at the 32nd Annual FIA Future and Options Exp (EXPO) in Chicago on 18 October 2016.  You can find Apcela in the Green Hall at Booth # 317.
