ENSO – – LONDON, NEW YORK 14 November, 2016 – ENSO Financial Analytics (ENSO), a leading portfolio finance and treasury solution for hedge funds and prime brokers, has received the ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 27001:2013 Certification from EY CertifyPoint. This international certification specifically addresses ENSO’s Information Security Management System (ISMS) for all of ENSO solutions, validating that security policies for these applications have undergone in-depth testing and external independent audits and have met or exceeded the guidelines.

“We are proud to be awarded this highly-regarded certification that highlights ENSO’s best practices for managing company data and security management,” says Matthew Bernard, Chief Executive Officer at ENSO.

ISO 27001:2013 is the leading auditable international standard which defines the requirements for an ISMS to ensure that sufficient security controls are instituted within the certified organization. Additionally, maintaining the ISO 27001:2013 Certification requires an annual review.

“Security is at the forefront of our business. This certification adds yet another layer of confidence for clients as they conduct their integral operations by using our key solutions,” says Mike McMahon, Chief Technology Officer at ENSO.

EY official: “Since 2002, the ISO 27001:2013 Certification has become one of the world’s most recognized and respected independent security standards. ENSO has successfully implemented an Information Security Management System against the ISO 27001 standard, and it is our pleasure to award them this certification.”

ENSO was acquired earlier this year by ICAP, and is now a front-runner in paving the way for their new security initiatives across the post trade networks and technology.

Jenny Knott, CEO of ICAP’s Post Trade Risk and Information Services division, said: “As we expand our products and analytics services to the hedge fund and the buy side community, triumphs such as ENSO’s ISO 27001:2013 status are exciting for the company and for our existing post trade clients. Information security management best practices are a priority for ICAP, and we are striving to achieve ISO status for our entire offering of post trade networks and technology.”
