Instinet Positive Change Award: Visionary

04.22.2020

The 2020 Markets Choice Awards are almost here!

We’re looking for input on some of the most important and unique categories in the MCA program: the Instinet Positive Change Awards.

The Instinet Positive Change Awards recognize achievements that have far-reaching impact in three areas: Visionaries; Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging; and Philanthropy. The idea is to showcase individuals and firms who go beyond excellence at their day jobs — those who are also agents for positive change in the world around us.

In the 2019 Markets Choice Awards, Instinet Positive Change Award winners were Jerome Pustilnik, co-founder of Instinet, for Visionaries (posthumous); BNP Paribas for Diversity & Inclusion; and Bryan Harkins of Cboe Global Markets, for Philanthropy.

We’ve requested reader nominations for Philanthropy and Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging. Today, we ask our dear readers: who in capital markets has brought us original ideas that will shape what the future will look like? Who are the true Visionaries?

Pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments and other institutional asset owners are sitting on vast troves of data -- but extracting value from that data is more challenging than ever.
