Markit Names Jane Hamilton to FX Business Development Team

IHSMarkit – LONDON – IHS Markit (Nasdaq: INFO), a world leader in critical information, analytics and solutions, today announced that Jane Hamilton joined the firm as managing director of business development for FX.

Jane brings deep experience in the FX market, prime brokerage and the technology systems supporting FX trading to Markit.  She will be responsible for expanding Markit’s portfolio of FX services and software, including recently-launched centralized services for trade affirmation, managing FX options, clearing and regulatory reporting.  

Jane joined IHS Markit from ICAP where she was director of Strategic Alliances for Traiana for 8 years.  Prior to Traiana, she worked at Thomson Reuters, another provider of FX market technology and services.  

Brad Levy, CEO of MarkitSERV and global head of loans at IHS Markit, said: “FX is a growth area for Markit and we are investing significantly in people and systems to deliver the innovative solutions our customers demand.  Jane’s extensive experience in alliance management, product management and trading along with her large network will help us work in partnership banks, asset managers and others to design the technology that will lead the next wave of automation in FX.”
