Matt Simon Joins Markets Media

Markets Media Group (MMG) is pleased to announce that Matt Simon has joined the company in the new position of Head of Strategy.

Simon joins MMG from TABB Group, where he was Head of Consulting and Advisory Services. Previously in his 12-year tenure at TABB, he was Senior Research Analyst focused on equities and equity derivatives. His career also includes five years as an investment liaison at T. Rowe Price.

At MMG, Simon will address critical, high-level initiatives, including building upon the already well-established and unique web assets of TradersMagazine.com and MarketsMedia.com, along with oversight and development of a new division yet to be announced. He will be based in New York and report to CEO Mohan Virdee.

“Over the past few years, MMG has built up its industry presence with a unique dual platform including first-class ancillary products and services,” Simon said. “I look forward to bringing some new ideas to the table and working with industry leaders globally across financial services and beyond to bridge, report, and monitor the most influential information gateways.”

Simon’s responsibilities will also include assisting with executive business decisions for company development, growth and strategy, as well as providing MMG industry representation.
