NYSE Announces Further Enhancements to Exclusive IR Market Data Platform, NYSE Connect

09.20.2016

BUSINESS WIRE – New York – The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), part of Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE:ICE), today announced further enhancements to NYSE Connect, a comprehensive market data platform and mobile application designed exclusively for NYSE-listed companies.

NYSE Connect is a robust, intuitive platform offering mission-critical data, information and tools for investor relations (IR) and finance teams. The new version of NYSE Connect is the result of significant investment to develop an integrated platform including real-time price quotes, analyst consensus estimates, ownership information, live streaming CNBC, the NYSE order book, short interest, equity options data, advanced charting functions, Excel downloads for financial modeling and more. The platform is offered free to issuers, and is available for desktops, tablets and mobile applications.

“We’re pleased to deliver further enhancements to the next generation of NYSE Connect, and we are already working on the next phase of development to enhance the functionality. We’ll be rolling out further tools for trading analysis, order book, detailed estimates, shareholder analytics and fundamentals,” said Demetrios Skalkotos, V.P., Head of Desktop Solutions, ICE Data Services.

The enhancements announced today, which will be rolled out in the next version in early October, include:

  • Real-time NYSE prices based on the BQT tape (Best Quote and Trades)
  • Expanded FactSet company fundamentals and consensus estimates
  • Non-US market data for companies listed or dually-listed on other exchanges (including Brazil, Canada, Germany and Israel, with other countries soon to follow)

“With our ongoing enhancements, investor relations professionals can customize reports on stock performance globally, including real-time trade data in their home country, but slightly delayed data in secondary markets,” continued Skalkotos. “The ability to add more fields and reports offers more access to comprehensive prices which is particularly important when markets are volatile.”

Clients may access NYSE Connect webinars for training and specialized training sessions on charting, Excel and institutional ownership.
