SAO PAULO – APRIL 9, 2013 – Perseus Telecom, a leading provider of ultra-low latency, high capacity global networks, announced that Marcos Guimaraes, President of Perseus Telecom, Brazil, will be speaking today at the Gartner IT Infrastructure, Operations & Data Center Summit in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Guimaraes will be speaking on the joint work between Perseus and ALOG Data Centers do Brasil, one of the leading carrier neutral data centers in Brazil. ALOG and Perseus have worked together to create a technological environment that can enable an electronic trading ecosystem for capital markets participants in Brazil. Speaking to the specific work Perseus has done with the ALOG SP1 Sao Paulo data center, Guimaraes will outline how Perseus and ALOG have equalized access in the electronic trading marketplace through ultra-low latency networks and delivering exchange connectivity, co-location services and the development of a network between the data center and BM&FBovespa.

“Perseus Telecom is equalizing network access with ultra-low latency,” comments Guimaraes. “We are redefining the standards of infrastructure investments and allowing for faster turn-up time for firms that want to participate in Brazil’s booming exchange trading community.”
