SBI Holdings, Startale Unveil Layer 1 Blockchain Strium

Startale Group and SBI Holdings, Inc. unveiled Strium Network (“Strium”), a new Layer-1 blockchain platform aimed at building trading and settlement infrastructure for tokenized securities and real-world-asset-linked products.

The announcement represents the first major milestone from the strategic partnership announced in August 2025, with a proof of concept complete and ready to demonstrate its approach to delivering institution-ready onchain capital market infrastructure.

Strium is designed to support 24/7 trading in spot and derivatives tied to tokenized securities and to connect with both blockchain networks and traditional finance infrastructure.

Leveraging SBI Holdings’ ecosystem of more than 80 million existing customers and expertise across securities, banking, and financial services, Strium is uniquely positioned to bridge institutional demand, professional trading activity and real world market participation onchain. As demand grows for more sophisticated ways to express macro, equity, and cross asset views, Strium positions itself to serve as the foundational trading and settlement infrastructure for Asia’s onchain securities markets.

Strium:  Building the Infrastructure for Onchain Securities

Building on the August 2025 partnership announcement, which positioned the alliance at the forefront of the $18.9 trillion tokenized asset market opportunity, Strium addresses a fundamental shift now underway in institutional and professional markets. Positioned as the core infrastructure for Asia’s onchain securities market, Strium will provide the rails for tokenized securities and RWA-linked instruments to scale while remaining interoperable with global financial systems.

From Vision to Execution: Proofs of Concept Delivered

The unveiling of the Strium platform coincides with proofs of concept (“PoC”) developed in parallel, now ready to validate the platform’s exchange architecture, settlement efficiency and interoperability with both traditional financial infrastructure and blockchain networks.

The PoC will demonstrate key technical capabilities around settlement efficiency, resilience under high-load, and interoperability with both traditional financial systems and blockchain networks. They serve as the foundation for further development, partner integration, and regulatory engagement. Strium plans to open the platform to a limited group of early participants as it progresses toward commercial deployment.

The Path Forward for Strium

Strium represents a long-term commitment by Startale and SBI Holdings to shaping the future of onchain capital markets. The current PoC phase is a critical step in validating this vision and building the foundation for a platform that can deliver on these ambitious goals. Further announcements regarding Strium will be shared in the coming months as Strium progresses toward commercial deployment.
