TradeStation, TradingView Launch API Integration Platform

09.05.2019

TradeStation and TradingView’s API Integration Platform Now Live

First online U.S. multi-asset class broker integration with TradingView gives traders a robust trading experience, from a sophisticated suite of charting and modeling tools and a larger community of traders through execution across multiple asset classes

Plantation, FL (September 5, 2019)TradeStation Securities, Inc., the award-winning* online broker-dealer and FCM operating subsidiary of TradeStation Group,  in collaboration with TradingView, Inc., has officially launched an API-powered integration with TradingView that is now available to TradeStation Securities customers.

Now, mutual customers of TradeStation Securities and TradingView can execute equities and commodity futures orders through TradeStation Securities’ robust, back-end execution systems, from a TradingView website display screen, through an API connection accessible on the TradingView website.  This means that TradeStation Securities customers may execute their trades through their TradeStation online brokerage accounts while continuing to view and use TradingView’s sophisticated charting and model tools and connect with a larger social community of traders to discuss strategies.

“With over 10 million monthly users, it’s clear we have a growth and customer-centric mindset here at TradingView,” said Denis Globa, CEO of TradingView. “By joining forces with an established broker like TradeStation Securities that shares this mentality, and by linking the power of both of our platforms through an API connection, we see our community of traders getting even bigger, better and stronger.”

TradingView’s 8 million active traders can still enjoy the ability to test, exchange and trade financial ideas through TradingView, but now – and for the first time – they can also place and execute orders in their TradeStation Securities account, without having to leave the TradingView platform.

“Social media is continuing to transform and disrupt our world as we know it, and TradingView has brought the power of social media to the world of trading,” said John Bartleman, President of TradeStation Group. “Through this integration, TradingView’s users who are also our brokerage customers will now be able to utilize the speed, functionality and execution of TradeStation Securities’ award-winning brokerage services. In addition, we look forward to being able to provide access to cryptocurrency trade executions via the same API integration once TradeStation Crypto, Inc., TradeStation Group’s cryptocurrency brokerage subsidiary, becomes operational.”
