WisdomTree Lists Six Exchange-Traded Funds on Toronto Stock Exchange

TMX Group.com – (Toronto) – Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) welcomes WisdomTree Investments, Inc. (WisdomTree), the industry’s ninth largest exchange-traded fund (ETF) provider globally, to the Exchange. WisdomTree will open the market this morning to celebrate the launch of six new Canadian ETFs, which began trading on TSX last Thursday.

Jonathan Steinberg, WisdomTree CEO and President, and Raj Lala, WisdomTree Head of Canada, will join Mr. Thadaney to open trading this morning at 9:30 a.m. ET.

As of June 30, 2016, there were 420 ETFs listed on TSX with a combined market capitalization of over $100 billion. For Market Openings: Media may pick up a feed from the TOC (television operations centre) for all market open ceremonies. The feed is named TSX Transmit 1 and is produced at the TMX Broadcast Centre and sent live to the TOC. The client moves into position for the market open ceremony at approximately 9:27 a.m. and the markets will open with the sound of a siren (the traditional market open on Toronto Stock Exchange) at 9:30 a.m.
