Don’t fancy yourself a big beer or wine drinker? How about an all-day, all-night tasting session with over 60 craft spirits poured for you by the distillers themselves? That’s what you can expect at the NYC Craft Distillers Festival, held at The Bowery Hotel on March 28.

Your ticket gets you unlimited access to vodkas, whiskeys, gins, flavored liqueurs, and an impressive amount of moonshine. Spend $55-65 more for the VIP passes and start the sampling an hour before the others. Artisanal distilleries from the region and beyond, including Catskill Distilling Company, Finger Lakes Distilling (their McKenzie Rye Whiskey is one of my all-time favorite), Philadelphia Distilling, Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine, and many others will be present with a line-up of their most popular products.

The festival will turn the vintage-deco LES haunt into a speakeasy lounge and transport guests back in time to pre-Prohibition New York. True to the theme, live jazz music will accompany the hearty drinking and “Modern-Gatsby Attire” is encouraged. Baby Soda and Jessy Carolina & The Hot Mess, which specialize in music from the era, will perform at each tasting session.

Tickets for the later session are already sold out but VIP early admission passes are still available, so act fast before the first session sells out too!

March 28, 2015. The Bowery Hotel 355 Bowery, New York. 1-4pm, $95 (Session 1) 7-10pm, $100 (Session 2–SOLD OUT). Tickets here
