Today is Veterans Day, a national holiday that honors those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces. It is a holiday that brings out strong feelings of patriotism and respect. The financial services industry is blessed to have many veterans among its ranks. For those of us, like me, who have not served in the military, veterans hold a special place in our communities, our lives and our hearts. We all know that neighbor, colleague, fellow parishioner or family member who is a veteran, and can attest to how they inspire us to live an honorable life with the perspective to understand what is truly important. Their attributes and continued contributions are unique, because their experiences are unique, and they represent what is best about this country.
To all of our nation’s veterans, STA extends a heartfelt thank you for your service.
