Wall Street veteran Joyce Rosely has joined Tradeweb as managing director in ETF sales, according to a market source familiar with her hire. She reports to Adam Gould, who heads Tradeweb’s U.S. ETF team as managing director, U.S. ETFs and equity derivatives trading.

Rosely, who according to her LinkedIn profile joined the fixed income trading-platform operator last month, had been managing director in global portfolio and ETF sales and execution at Convergex since 2015. Convergex was purchased by Cowen in a $116 million deal that closed today; Eric Noll, the former CEO, is among others who have also departed the brokerage as the merger neared completion.

Prior to joining Convergex, Rosely held senior positions in portfolio trading at CIBC and Deutsche Bank in New York. Before that, she was at Goldman Sachs for 11 years, where she was vice president in trading. She started her career as a NYSE floor clerk and government agency discount note trader at Merrill Lynch in 1992.

Tradeweb has been building out its business in exchange-traded funds, as more market participants turn to the securities as a way to access liquidity. Tradeweb launched its U.S. ETF trading platform in early 2016.

Rosely won Traders Magazine‘s Wall Street Women Leadership Award winner in 2015. She serves as co-head of Women in ETFs’ New York chapter.
