NEW YORK – March 25, 2019 – Tradeweb Markets, a leading, global operator of electronic marketplaces for rates, credit, equities and money markets, today announced that it has commenced the roadshow for the initial public offering of its Class A common stock. Tradeweb Markets is offering 27,268,767 shares of its Class A common stock at an initial public offering price between $24.00 and $26.00 per share. Tradeweb Markets expects to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 4,090,315 shares of Class A common stock at the initial public offering price, less the underwriting discounts and commissions. The shares are expected to trade on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the ticker symbol “TW.”
Tradeweb intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to purchase equity interests from certain existing bank stockholders. Refinitiv will continue to own a controlling interest in Tradeweb following the offering.
J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC and Morgan Stanley are acting as the joint book-running managers for the offering.
