What better way to take in the brilliant colors of fall than on a relaxing trip along the Hudson River? SeaStreak is now offering fall foliage cruises every weekend all through November 16, perfect for those who would like to escape the hustle and bustle of the city for a day and savor the scenic view of the waterfront this time of the year.

You’ll sail aboard one of SeaStreak’s high-speed passenger ferries equipped with heated decks, restrooms, and a full bar selling snacks and beverages. The boat will pick up passengers from Highlands, New Jersey at 8 a.m. and Pier 11 by Wall Street an hour later. From there, the cruise will make its way up the Hudson River, going under the George Washington Bridge, where you will experience the majestic expanse of the Palisades. The narrated tour by a seasoned guide on board will help you familiarize yourself with remarkable sights and landmarks as you pass them on the cruise.

After sailing past West Point, a popular spot for admiring fall foliage, the boat will make two stops. Passengers can choose to disembark at either location to walk around, sightsee, and grab lunch. The first stop is Cold Spring, an idyllic village known for its historic buildings, antique shops, and quaint cafes along Main Street. Otherwise, you can opt for the second town, Newburgh, which boasts Zagat-rated restaurants and breathtaking views of the Hudson, so be sure to get a table outside (weather permitting)! After a couple hours, the boat will come back around to pick up passengers and head back into the city, thus completing your full day of fall foliage sighting.
